As the city's most eagerly awaited cultural event, the 14th Mumbai Film Festival, presented by Reliance Entertainment and American Express and organized by the Mumbai Academy of Moving Image draws closer, it has been revealed that this edition of the festival will conclude with the screening of Blancanieves as its Closing Film, a 2012 black-and-white silent Spanish drama film directed by Spanish auteur Pablo Berger.

Adapted from Matthew Quick's novel of the same name, this David O Russell film boasts of a multi-star cast that includes Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro, Jacki Weaver, Anupam Kher, Julia Stiles and Chris Tucker.

The 14th edition of the premier event of Mumbai's culture calendar, the Mumbai Film Festival (MFF) presented by Reliance Entertainment and American Express and organised by the Mumbai Academy of Moving Image, will be held from the 18th - 25th October, 2012 at National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) and Inox, Nariman Point, Liberty Cinemas, Marine Lines as the main festival venues and Cinemax, Andheri and Cinemax Sion as the satellite venues.

The 14th Mumbai Film Festival organised by MAMI will take place from the 18-25 October,2012 and in the run up to the gala event has begun accepting entries for the much anticipated and New section, the Indian film competition titled "India Gold 2012".
